PARAMOLAN C is an analgesic (relieves pain) and antipyretic (reduces fever) medication, available as a powder for oral solution, presented in sachets. Paracetamol, at therapeutic doses, has analgesic and antipyretic properties, but lacks anti-inflammatory action. The analgesic activity of paracetamol is mainly peripheral, being evident in mild to moderate intensity pain. It has no effect on spasmodic pain of visceral origin. Paracetamol reduces body temperature in cases of hyperthermia, but has no significant effect in cases of normothermia. There are published studies on the role of ascorbic acid, or vitamin C, in the prevention and treatment of colds and flu. Furthermore, this vitamin can help to address any potential deficiency in ascorbic acid. The product's formulation as a powder for oral solution and its presentation in single doses ensure correct dosage and allow for better safety and hygiene conditions. Paramolan C is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of conditions accompanied by pain or fever, especially in cases of flu-like syndromes and colds.
